I enjoy working with people. And I am happy when things move forward, when I can help people move forward and achieve their goals. I am happy to have experienced this for many years and would now like to intensify it as my new focus in life.
As a leader with more than 30 years of experience in various roles, including international roles, in a large pharmaceutical company, I am familiar with the evolution of today's workplace with all its complexity, energy for rapid change and uncertainty. I am also familiar with modern leadership cultures and successful models of collaboration. At the same time, I have experienced the challenges of international collaboration as well as the opportunities, chances and successes that come with it.
I stand for appreciation and participation, self-determination and risk taking, as well as energy and persistence to bring everyone together in small teams and large organizations.
As a coach, I work on the basis of a one-year, very intensive, DCV-certified training at Anja Mumm's Kompetenzzentrum Coaching, which teaches systemic concepts and methods based on psychological theories. This enables me to ideally combine my leadership experience and values with my own open and understanding attitude. As a result, I am able to offer support in many areas with the goal of creating balance in life.

As a creator, I enjoy planning, preparing, and implementing projects - whether in the business environment, responding to change, or creating successful organizations, or in the personal environment, planning complex trips or implementing ideas for home and garden.
As a private pilot of small aircraft, I enjoy getting away from the ground and all the worries of everyday life, and gliding along with new impressions. I also know the importance of precise procedures, reliability and agreements. All in all, I experience the balance between a focused view of a goal and an expansive view beyond boundaries.
As a team player, whether in sports, business, or in many areas of everyday life, I have experienced the power of togetherness and enjoyed the shared success.
As a natural scientist, I have learned to observe and analyze the world and my surroundings closely, to question everything and look for explanations. But I have also learned to respect nature as an invaluable phenomenon and to see ourselves and our behavior as humans as part of it.
As a connoisseur, I appreciate the largely untouched nature of Iceland, the fascinating natural phenomena of fire and ice, the beauty of the country and the openness of its people. I also enjoy Scotland with its wild nature, its rich history, its people with their commitment to their country and one of its special products, Scotch Single Malt Whisky. I enjoy it with all my senses and experience a wonderful reflection of many life situations in its aroma and taste.
As a photography enthusiast, I like to look closely at my surroundings and capture their beauty, tension, shapes and colors as well as my impressions of them in the photo. I realize again and again how important it is to look from the right angle, to look closely and to react at the right moment. As with every pleasure, this moment may be different for everyone.
As a father of two now grown daughters, I understand the balance between family and career.
